RISK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR TRAFFIC ACCIDENT USING GEOINTELLIGENCE DATABASE IN SANTA CATARINA ROADS – SOUTHERN BRAZIL
Risk
management system is composed of knowledge and technological innovation.
Traffic accidents risk management development in this research involves
activities ranging from the implementing of strategy and actions to prevent and
minimize the risk of traffic accidents. These activities include scenario
identification, risk assessment, defining the strategy for prevention,
monitoring, warning, alarm, response and reconstruction of risks/disasters. The
research aims at constructing the Risk Management System of Traffic Accidents
using GeoIntellingence and its application to Government and Companies. In
order to elaborate the Risk Management System the following data is needed:
traffic accident reports, epidemiological data, climatic data, vehicle flow,
proximity of rivers and banks, bearings, land use and occupation, works of art
(tunnels, bridges, etc.), urban planning. Used maps are: cartographic,
topographic, hydrologic, roads, contour curve, soils, altitude, vegetation,
hypsometric and also satellite images. Risk management system of traffic
accidents allows identifying kilometres considered as high risk areas of
traffic accidents, injured victims, casualties, flooding areas, land and
boulders slides, cyclone occurrence area and analysis of land use occupation.
